His son, Oleksiy Kunitsyn, from the first days of the full-scale invasion stood at the forefront, defending our land and freedom. His sister was no less heroic. She worked as a medical worker on the front line, saving the lives of Ukrainian soldiers in the most dangerous conditions. Her husband, unfortunately, died while serving in the AZOV battalion, and this tragedy only strengthened her determination to help the country and the people.

Together, this family shows that patriotism is not words, but actions. It is the willingness to stand by the people in the most difficult times, to give one’s strength, health, and even the most valuable thing — life.
